Create art using whatever choice of art materials you would like to express your feelings, and emotions to help you realise your potential.
Adults and children benefit from developing a sense of play which can give them a much needed ‘space’ away from the constraints of normal living, and help them renew their capacities for tackling life’s challenges.
Art therapy gives you the opportunity to talk, and use different art materials however you would like. However if you do not want to talk about your art work this is respected. There are no art techniques in this approach. Clients can use their own ideas or have suggestions made by me. I offer a safe supportive environment, with a selection of pencils, charcoal, clay, paint and pastels.
My practice is in Charlton SE London. Which is accessible by bus route 53, or by car (free parking on the street).
No experience of art is required, and no special artistic ability; there is no right way of doing it.
This is also good for people who find it difficult to express their thoughts and feelings verbally.
Relax and use the media in any way you would like.
The individual sessions last for 50 minutes, usually once a week.
Group work is 1.5 hours. It is possible to try a session to see if you like it.
